Executive Director

C.L. Caleb Hing, Ph.D., P.E.

Dr. Caleb Hing is the Vice President for Consor Engineers while also serving as the Executive Director of IAI. Caleb received his Bachelor, Masters, and his Doctorate degrees from West Virginia University in Morgantown WV. Caleb has worked on multitude of transportation projects in Texas and around the country. 

In addition to work, Caleb is very active in professional organizations. He is currently serving as the Past President of Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). For his volunteer effort, Caleb was named the ASCE Edmund Friedman Young Engineer of the Year for Professional Achievements in 2010, 2012 Rising Stars in Structural Engineering by ZweigWhite's Structural Engineer Magazine, 2014 ENR Texas & Louisiana Top 20 Under 40 Award, inducted as Fellow of ASCE, and Fellow of SEI, along with other local recognitions. Caleb was a National Science Foundation Teaching Fellow and West Virginia State Higher Education Commission's Chancellor Scholar.

 

Caleb is the cofounder of IAI and was appointed the Executive Director of IAI, currently serving under the leadership of President Michael Bauer.
